Discipleship on Repeat
Lessons from Rahab
Do you feel like your past disqualifies you from serving God’s purpose? Don’t let your past hold you back. You don’t need to get cleaned up to be used by God. He has work for you today just as you are! Being obedient can be challenging, especially if we are scared. But taking risks for God will grow our faith. God used Rahab in the midst of the sinful life she was living all because she was willing to take a risk for God. Let’s be bold in our faith, just like Rahab.
Verses of the Week:
Joshua 2:1-11
Numbers 13 & 14
Joshua 6
Hebrews 11:31
James 2:25
Matthew 1:5 (corrected)
How to live it out:
Take risks in faith - faith without works is dead
Be obedient in faith even though we are scared
We can’t let our past hold us back from God’s call on our life
Keep grinding!
Matt & Chris
